Eaton's Model 85 Y-Strainers are heavy duty parts – engineered to stand up to the most aggressive of industrial and commercial applications. They feature a sturdy, compact design that includes a high quality stainless steel screen, threaded covers and synthetic fiber gaskets. These gaskets are designed for use where the amount of solids to be removed is small and frequent cleanout is not required, such as steam, air, nitrogen or natural gas lines. Their compact, cylindrical shape is very strong and can readily accommodate the high pressure common to this type of service (up to 1500 psi).
